Black Hawaiian Sea Salt

Black Hawaiian Sea Salt is also called Black Lava Sea Salt. Harvested in the Hawaiian Islands, it's a blend of pure sea salt and purified volcanic charcoal. Black Hawaiian Sea Salt is evaporated in above ground pools that formed naturally from lava flows. Activated charcoal is added for color and its detoxifying effects. True Hawaiian sea salts have vastly more minerals and a richer flavor. Sea salt naturally includes potassium and magnesium that is filtered out of regular table salt or Kosher salt. Black Hawaiian Sea Salt has a strong earthy flavor that comes from the activated charcoal used to make it.
