Here in New England, we use our grill and smoker all year 'round even when it's cold outside. But if the snow's too high to dig out the grill, these blends work just as well in the oven roasting pan. Use them as a dry rub or mix with olive oil or vegetable oil for a marinade -- one rounded tablespoon per pound of meat. Use them on the grill and in the smoker to enhance your flavors.
